Occupational Therapists focus on facilitating function and maximizing independence in daily living skills in order to participate in meaningful activities. OTs complete comprehensive evaluations and work with patients to identify goals that are important to their daily function, interests, values, and roles.
Occupational therapy treatment approaches include remediation, use of compensatory and adaptive techniques, and self management education. Interventions may include the following as part of the client’s plan of care:
- Rehabilitation of the upper extremity, trunk, and hand
- Training in activities of daily living and use of adaptive equipment

Kaitlin has worked as a registered occupational therapist for the past 14 years and has used her expertise to provide individualized, holistic and meaningful therapeutic treatments to clients of all ages as well as caregiver support. Her specialties include fall recovery therapy, home safety, medicine management therapy, and adaptations and modifications.
